Day 3 – 24 Spirits of the Season – Candy Cane Martini

My friend Tim made this holiday-themed martini a couple years ago and I had posted the drink details and his thoughts then. Updating this for the 24 Spirits posts, it’s a great drink to revisit.

Here’s the recipe

• 1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka
• 1/2 oz club soda
• 2 ice cubes
• candy cane

Mix everything but the candy cane in a shaker, pour into a small martini glass and garnish with the candy cane [as shown above]. The only change I would make to this is to crush the candy cane into small bits and coat the rim of the small martini glass.

Tasty and refreshing, this will be a hit for those holiday parties you host at your home.
