Sangster’s Original Jamaica Rum Cream
Hi! I’m kapgar and this is my first (of, hopefully, several) guest posts here at Adult Beverages.
This week, I’m featuring the final two fingers of a bottle given to me by my parents as a gift from a port stop in Jamaica on a cruise a year ago. Sangster’s Original Jamaica Rum Cream.
While, in principal, similar to the likes of Bailey’s Irish Creme and Kahlua Creme, the Jamaican rum gives it a nice 17% ABV kick in the butt.
Over ice. With additional spices. Or just straight up like in the photo above. This is a great sipper. Just promise me you’ll save mixing for cheaper, more readily available equivalents.
As I sit here with the last of this bottle watching the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, I’m wishing I had more.
Sigh.
I’ve had Jamaican rum before, but this rum cream sounds very good.
It’s the best of both worlds… cream liqueur and Jamaican rum. Yum!
