Accumulation White India Pale Ale
The second of two holiday themed beers that are getting a much delayed blog posting. This one I had a party one night and one was shared with me by the host. Most of the other beers available were 3.2% ABV, which I rarely have anymore. So this offer for a higher ABV beer was nice.
I’ve heard of New Belgium Brewery, but I do not recall if I’ve had any of their beers previous to this winter IPA.
High ABV
The 6.2% ABV was very much evident on the first swig. Not as bitter as I was expecting. Smooth with a small bite, like a average IPA normally has. It was tasty and so much better than an average year. Did I mention the 6.2% ABV? Oh yes, I did. Cause that helped a lot with this full-strength brew.
Now I wait for the holiday season again. And I promise to not slack on my coverage of holiday adult beverages.
